I counted three, or maybe two... or maybe six "new" birds, this morning... ha ha.
"We heard by by word of beak that you were here,,,", ha ha.
The fire place, zone, front, burnt out bit isn't that far from here so I'm not surprised they turned up...
"The food's good, we're not so sure about you because you're a stranger, but don't stop bringing the snacks out...", ha ha.
I figured if I have a few extra hungry beaks, I'd better get some more bird seed...
The Mall... It'll be quiet on a Sunday... (Possibly the greatest understatement of the week...).
Strewth... Just strewth... ha ha.
And with the impending approach of the Season to lose your reason, it's only going to get worse, I know... ha ha.
Their Christmas decorations are up... How jolly and cheerful... (Rolls eyes)... But at least they were playing ABBA over the intercom, ha ha.

The little, cheap, "travel" razor has been a bit neglected, sitting at the back of the cupboard, so I figured I'd get it out and give it a run...
Having spent the last few months looking like a cross between a deranged Santa and Grizzly Adams, I figured I should tidy up a bit, and now that Halloween's passed, there's not much call for me to frighten little children... any more than usual, that is... ha ha.
The razor makes a whiny, mechanical buzzing noise, as you might expect...
I had it running, and then it started to go off key...
And I started to worry that this thing was very close to my face, and making strange noises...
No amount of tapping it, or shaking it seemed to solve the problem, and weirdest thing of all was that it kept on making that noise even when it was switched off... Which was strange... ha ha.
And then the noise stopped... Hmm... Strange...
And then it started again... Okay, I'll admit it, Very Strange.... ha ha.
And now the noise was coming from outside the window...
The culprit as it turns out was a mud wasp building a nest....ha ha.
So we amused each other, or at least I amused myself, ha ha, for a few minutes, having an off key duet... ha ha.
Personally, I'd much rather it builds a nest there than above the back door...
There's far less chance of me opening the door and having it fly in, only to have to shoo out again...
Getting the birds out is hard enough as it stands, without having to tackle an insect that isn't going to listen to me, either, ha ha.

I watched one of the birds this afternoon sitting next to a water dish, dunking it's head in, every so often...
Before long I started to wonder why its beak was dry...
The simple conclusion...? The dish was empty, but that didn't stop it from being optimistic, ha ha.
"Birds, sometimes I don't notice that the dishes are empty... what I need is some kind of indicator...".
"You could cut a hole in the side, then you'd be able to see how much water is in them...", ha ha.
🙂
