It'd be a bit boring.

That damned Koel is still out there.

Hope they only displaced an Indian Mynah for their baby.

Shortly before dawn... Okay, about 4... He and She koel decided to set themselves up over the road and sing...

Sing of their love, sing of the tree that they had found to sit in and sing of their love from, and generally announce that they were there, in a tree, in love and it was an excruciatingly inconvenient hour of the morning to do so... ha ha.

They didn't keep it up for too long, if you consider it ending about 11 this morning not to be too long...

The koels, as far as I can tell from the few pictures online...

He's jet black, with red eyes, and she's a mottled brown colour.

Going by that, perhaps they should be named  "Brown and Black koel...", ha ha.

Well, it's not exactly snowing here, but it is pouring with rain which means that if it was to get really cold, it would snow! ...

7 hours of this is a bit much.  I don't mind it during the day, but at night?

Doesn't he ever sleep?

Don't think they go back to PNG until about March.

It's looking like the kind of Christmas some people wish for - no koel... ha ha.

I think this early morning's mild deluge might have damped things down, for them, so to speak...

If I trust the radar, there's some rain activity heading my way, but it might be a couple of hours off, and it might turn out to be less of a bang than a whimper.

Or I can trust the "forecast" - "Cats, Dogs, Elephants, Circus tents! Build an Ark! Hurry! Hurry! Head for higher ground!", well, perhaps not that bad, but the Bureau sometimes do go in for adding everything to the mix, just on the chance of it happening... ha ha.

It's a lovely sunny day... I could be doing things, outside things... I could, but I've no clear idea as to whether or not starting anything is a good idea... ha ha.

So I won't, ha ha.

I'll pass the day with endless cups of tea and sitting here and talking at you, instead... ha ha.
