great news about the muzzles in victoria, i'm not sure where other states are with that.

south australia had just changed the law when i got FOO so hes been free of the muzzle the whole time ive had him.

i hope one day they will be free from the lead all the time to perhaps be allowed to run free in certain places.

there have been days when ive walked FOO on north beach when we were the only ones in sight and i'm not allowed to unhook him and let hime run around.

id never let him loose near roads/homes, as he has no sense of danger from cars.

I'm surprised the muzzle has just come off in Victoria.

I thought they did away with that years ago....obviously not.

I will say, I haven't seen a greyhound being walked for about 40 years around these parts.

They are a rare sight indeed.

If I outlive my present dogs (2 Whippets) I would be thinking about getting greyhound.  I saw recently one 9 years old whose owner died and I was very tempted, but thankfully she was snatched pretty fast.
