Having a chuckle about the "strike aircraft" .....  Woman LOL

It reminds me that when I was about four years old, I heard a news broadcast about "gorillas" attacking an outpost somewhere or the other and I had nightmares about enormous hairy gorillas with rifles and other weapons running around shooting people! .... Smiley Indifferent

It took a while before I understood that guerrillas ain't gorillas, so that was an enormous relief.

I'm staggering around at a very reserved pace at the moment after three nights of star gazing.  We've been all over the place with the astro-telescope on wonderfully clear nights and looking at all kinds of splendid sights, including a binary star system .. so very beautiful and stunningly clear.  I wish there were more hours in a day!

Hoping everyone is having a really good week with an equally great weekend xxx

More hours in a day? Wouldn't that reduce the time available for star gazing...? ha ha...

No!  I would wave a magic wand and make it dark at 4pm every day ...  Smiley Tongue

Hi Tas,

Your were not the only one that was confused by the Gorillas.

I was probably about 8 to 10 years of age.

The Vietnam war was happening and most mornings on the radio I would hear about the war and the Gorilla Warfare.

I had this mental image of Gorillas running around with machine guns killing people.

Then to make it worse, the original movie, the Planet of the Apes was being advertised at the movies.

Then to add more terror, I think somewhere around the same period, the original King Kong movie was going to be

aired on TV.  I have a faint recollection of the tv ad, saying something about it being so scary it was band from TV

for  over 30 years.

No wonder I had problems,  Gorilla Warfare, the Viet-kong, a planet with talking apes attacking humans,

and a huge gorilla name King Kong, all killing us. Smiley Surprised

I know exactly what you mean Trav .. weird stuff wasn't it?

Stawks, if you are there, I purchased a bag of the citrus fertiliser, thank you for the information and advice.  We composted and mulched around the tree also .. looks like lemons this year.
