Even the most spectacularly optimistic of people would have to agree that the chances of him coming back are fairly slim... ha ha.
That's the trouble with wild birds... they just go off and do whatever they want... ha ha.
It was good knowing him... it was nice to have the company, something I'm sure he'd echo as a sentiment...
I say it, laughingly, every time - I have got to stop making friends with birds who have such a short lifespan... I barely get to know them and then they're gone, ha ha...
