bit of yuckiness:^O

Oh my, all this wonderful artwork, and all I've done this week is put less than 5 square inches of paint onto the canvas ...   :_| ... and to make things worse, the 'decks' had to be cleared for the tradies and as a result, just about no art work, still leaving the canvas looking like a herd of mutant bison on steroids backwards ...  😞

So I'm going to beg off and get reorganised for the new week (tomorrow), giving myself hours of free time and everything else can go jump!

I'm on a roll!

Thanks, Gillie.  I'm in awe of your art ... I couldn't imagine me doing anything like that in a million years.

LOL, Fleur ... maybe you should leave it and just title it that? πŸ˜‰

Katy ...  :_| ... no no no, I can't leave anything unfinished, I have to get to it now ... however, hmmmm ... bison, maybe I can work one into it ...  πŸ˜›

I know, Fleur ... I've been working on 3 or 4 different things over the last few weeks, and it was so nice to get the pots finished.  They're not perfect, but I felt happy letting them go  ... saying this works for me, even if they are untidy ... all they are doing is adding colour to my balcony ...

I have heaps of pots Katy.   with NO holes in the bottom.  goodness knows why I bought them...maybe thought OH could drill a hole?  anyway they're pretty useless at the moment, so might use them for decoration like you have done? food for thought

If they are terracotta, Gillie, they are a pleasure to paint.

But, depending on the size of them, you could put smaller (holed) pots inside them and grow stuff like that ... I have a wooden planter with no holes, that I have been growing herbs in ... the herbs are in icky plastic pots ... or, there are plants that you could have growing in containers with no holes.  Just add some pebbles at the bottom to keep the roots from getting waterlogged πŸ™‚

Some fabulous artwork since I last looked !!

Your castle turned out well considering you drew it freehand, moonlight, and it's great that you enjoyed doing it πŸ˜„

Your next project is really huge, I think you'll learn a lot while painting it.  If you remember, try to write down what you do when things work out well and when they stuff up (as always happens to everyone!).  It's good to keep a record for reference.

Love the pots katy, I love colour too.  I also love natural looking things...a bit eclectic.

It sounds like you've been busy tas, so hope you find time to relax and paint.

and gil, the images you create are beautiful.

I've been a bit busy, so no new pics from me.  Hope to start a new method of painting soon....I'll explain all when I've done !

Hope everyone manages to find the time to relax and dabble in some artycrafty stuff.

Hiya Soul :-x

I'm back at work, been given a new role with heaps more responsibilty, so not much time now for art.
