Think I've only done it twice in twenty years.
My last name is Wilk.
Last time I voted in town before today when I told the Lady Wilk she said "are you sure?"
I was so stunned I had no response for a bit while she said "I thought it was Wilks"
I said no "Wilk, W I L K no S.
Today to try and alleviate a repeat performance I said" Wilk, W I L K "
Sure as eggs are eggs he must of heard Wilks
At least at school the kids new my name exactly because they always used to say Wilk, Wilk sounds like milk.
Pity grown ups can't be so attentive to the details

Martin, you've given out waaay too much info on a public forum.
You've previously said where you live, and now your surname.
It wasn't necessary to give the surname, just the fact that they keep hearing the 's' on the end.

when i vote in state elections they send me a card in the mail with my information printed on it, when i vote i hand the card to the person at the desk prior to getting the voting papers.
this is great as i see the information is correct weeks before the day and if there was an error i could have it fixed.
plus there are no explaining how my name is spelt ect.
about time the feds got this.

I voted weeks ago.
Despite not having to produce ID I simply handed the electoral officer my driver licence. No spelling of name or confirming address required.
I think that voters should have to produce some form of ID when voting.

I often run into people that I haven't seen in while and they say "oh I thought you didn't live here anymore"
