Its pretty simple really.
1) People shouldn't feel publicly shamed for what goes in their bins. Its not the sign of a healthy society that some people think its OK to sticky beak and tutt tutt about others lives, based on whats in their bin.
2) I don't want the government or wacky Greens senators interfering in peoples rubbish bins. There's plenty more worthwhile things
for governments to spend time and money on rather than spying on what people are throwing out.
The fact that some people think public shaming is OK just shows how sick and petty our society has become. If a neighbour reports suspicious bin contents should we drag the culprit to the village square, put them in stocks and throw rotten food ( from clear bins ) at them ?
Some people need to just get a life and find something really worthwhile to worry about rather than peering over the fence all of the time at what their neighbours are doing.
