i have watched so many episodes of the tv air crash investigation where it shows anytime  a plane gets from point 'a' to point 'b' without crashing is a miracle.

usually the smallest failure, like a worn bolt, can cause the plane to fall out of the sky.

with todays 'save money at all costs' attitude its not surprising corners are cut at all levels.

even new planes are unsafe.
