Time for afternoon tea ...  Smiley Tongue

Ha ha....

🙂

I drew back the curtain and the current pair of old man birds were standing on the bridge, looking at me, intently...

"We're using our eagle eyes to watch you... Well, not really, because we're not eagles... Can you imagine if we were? That'd be funny... Birdseed, again? Where's our half a sheep? Ha ha ha ha ha...".

If nothing else, they're entertaining... ha ha.

I've often wondered what it would have been like to go to a posh school...

I remember when I put the last part of the bridge extension in...

I came round the corner, in the garden, carrying a wooden stake and the old man bird looked at me with an expression of sheer horror... "Oh no, he's coming after me with stick!". ha ha...

He scurried off to a safe distance and watched from there...

I clamped one end of the stake in place and moved the other end side to side, left, right, to get the alignment right...

I clamped it in place, and because of all the wiggling at that end, the other other clamp came loose, ha ha...

Having done this before, it didn't come as a surprise, ha ha...

He, however, thought it was the funniest thing he'd seen for days and nearly fell off the bridge, laughing...

It's good to know that it's not just them that's entertaining, ha ha...

He likes his new bridge...

"Was there some mention of it being extended further? Say, to over there, where it's sunny?", ha ha...

We have discussed some kind of conveyor belt affair, or perhaps a cable car... that way I could reel the birds in from their sunny perch, to have some food... or, of course, reel the food out to the birds, at their sunny perch... ha ha...

As you can imagine they're very excited by the prospect of this multipurpose device, ha ha...

Believe me ' posh schools ' have a lot to answer.
