Issues of non Belief aside, for a moment, apparently God has worse in store for me than this...

So, this specifically, or are we talking about something on a broader scale?

Don't come at me with the "Brush with Death" routine, I Reap, part time, so "brushes with", so to speak, are nothing new to me, ha ha...

I was at the bedside of a family friend who was on the brink of passing when "The Moment" came - the Reaper arrived, looked at me, looked at his clipboard and said "Sorry, did I pick up the wrong card?"...

I explained that I was off duty, and there as a guest...

"Ah!", said the Reaper, "You had me confused there, for a moment...".

We had a little chuckle about that.... ha ha...

That's the thing with Reaping, it's not all grim... ha ha...

And I said "Happy Mother's Day!"... ha ha...

The girl galah has shown up three days in a row, around lunchtime.

Showing up three days in a row isn't unusual, but generally she comes later in the afternoon...

And the boy galah wasn't with her...

Which is a little bit unusual...

That was yesterday and the two days preceding...

Today, boy galah turned up... on his own... ha ha...

I'd noticed with both of them that they were eating, if not for two, then for more... ha ha.

So I have a theory...

Not too far from here there's a nest, possibly containing hungry little birds, that's being looked after by one of the two galahs.

The "spare" galah goes out during the day, finds as much food as they can and brings it back to the nest for the hungry occupants...

I may, of course, be completely  wrong on that point,  ha ha.

My knowledge of galahs is limited to the brief contact that we have here, so as I say, I may be completely wrong...

It may well be that they're simply taking turns at coming here and eating as much as they can, ha ha...

Still, it'll be interesting if, in however many weeks it takes, time, to see if I don't find myself being introduced to a new crop of galahs.

Baby galahs, from experience, have a permanently startled expression, and are prone to making rasping noises...

This has the potential to be an amusing experience, ha ha...
