You see them in the standing water in the paddocks
Probably eating just frogs

Ecar, yes. I was amazed the first time I saw a pair twenty years ago when I worked in a sawmill at Hotspur

My girlfriend feeds the birds the wild bird seed but I've noticed that this year there's less than ten sparrows but last year there was a large flock of about fifty every day

I'll say 100% chance on it hatching successfully, and the same for it surviving it's childhood with three boisterous older siblings, ha ha.
