It's raining atm in the city.  She's spread her wings to use as an umbrella.

And it's cold.

It was wet and cold here, today, too.

The birds weren't particularly impressed and ended up leaving about an hour early.

Which didn't help me, as I'm still trying to make head or tail of daylight saving, ha ha...

In my day the sun went down at half past six and you knew where you stood...

Now it goes down at half past seven and by the time I've managed to get any of the usual evening chores done, I've missed half the funny shows on TV.

I'm always amused by the idea of a "Free Gift with purchase".

They're usually something of relatively low value like miniature tape measures or keyring sized torches...

I suspect this was a "Free Gift" because I can't envisage myself ever buying a tool specifically for sharpening a diamond.

But it's here, and one day, who knows, it may come in handy, ha ha...
