I looked in on the falcons earlier.
The two young ones were sitting upright, with their backs to the cement wall, viewing their domain beyond the ledge, ha ha...

First off Buffy attacked a young Magpie.
It got away but it's left wing isn't sitting tucked in fully now.
Then some peanut wouldn't slow down when a Plover got scared as we got off the bus.
It went onto the road and was hit by a car.
It's still walking around but it's doing a lot of head bobs that I don't see them usually doing.
So I feel really bad today.
Doesn't help that my arm is really sore too

Lost one chick last Sunday night.

They played chasey all along the ledge today.
Poor Martin, not a good day at all.

Well that will teach me to spy on sleeping baby birds........
All was quiet in the nest when suddenly a beady little eye popped open, followed by the baby nearest the camera standing up and stretching it's legs and wings. It then lifted it's tail and shot a poop directy at the camera. lol. It then settled down to sleep again.
Mum or Dad is again spending the night on top of the wooden panel at the side of the nest.
I must say that baby is developing a very fine set of tail feathers.
