We are in a "dead" zone and can't improve on our speed at all so it can be much worse.

Top speed is 5.3Mbps when it's running "fast".

We only scored cable to the node here,  it's slower than before we had the NBN plus I hate having no phone if the power goes off, I wish they had just left it alone

It has been absolute years - since a landline - simply connected to the server has applied.

It's via our phone line and modem and it's had problems in the past (the line has been cut a few times and at

one stage the electricians that did it repaired it but they hooked a live wire into it that caused all sorts of problems.

We were hooked up to sattelite when the phone played up then and a technician took ten days to find the

faults.track them back and then fixed them (hopefully).

We can't get the NBN and the only other option is satellite which may be slower according to them and was

when we had it during that 10 day period.

So where did the YEARS come from?    I haven't had the NBN for "years"
