I also know your pain.  I had to remove DD from the local High School due to meltdowns and anxiety after term one.  It was very difficult for her to cope with all the changes and routine of High school.

We now access DE although that too was a challenge.  We are hoping that this year will be a better year for her.  She is now seeing a psych who is far more understanding in regard to AS. We figure we are just on a different journey to most.

I also have to other daughters with Fragile X Syndrome (intellectual disability) and autism.  They are going to High School two days a week.  The school has been flexible although the aide challenges our sanity regularly lol!

It's not easy advocating for our kids that's for sure but remember you are the expert! From what you have written its seems like you are a very dedicated and committed parent doing an amazing job!
