Kazumi, I hope you didn't pay too much attention to Carrick Ryan and were able to see through his little ploy. He microanalyzed Morrison's actions and dug very deep into his bag of tricks to try and discredit the PM. He even criticized Morrison for learning from other countries before making some crucial decisions, which other leaders such as Trump failed to do - and look at those countries now. Ryan's intention to discredit the PM was clearly his objective, despite his repeated claims that it was not. He was so transparent. I don't think he is as good a liar as he thinks he is. Poor form and disappointing. We don't need that carp right now, it's too early.

If America imposed restrictions 2 weeks earlier theirCOVID19 death toll would have been 1/3 of what it is now, even 1 week would have made a huge difference;

Well, he is 100% right.  Morrison is being credited for his actions and strong leadership.  The fact is he tried everything to slow down any restrictions.  He did not lead, he followed, reluctantly.  Remember when he finally introduced restriction, which he decided were going to start on Monday!  He boasted he was going to church and footie over the weekend.  Then the state premiers stepped in, and prevented to potential exponential infections.  Even now, he is pushing reopening of everything; thankfully the premiers in most affected states are dealing with things themselves.  States with no new infections are relaxing the restrictions more, while Victoria with 10 and 12 new cases respectively in the last 2 days, is rightly more cautious.  Absolutely 0 credit should go to Morrison.
