Back in high school one of my mates told me that there was no meat in meat pies.

I thought he was having a lend of me, but I nodded agreeably, anyway...

Then this turns up, years later...

Proof positive that he was right, ha ha....

After all, a cockatoo wouldn't eat a meat pie if there was meat in it, would they? ha ha...

I'm a bit hesitant about asking this lot, here, for fear of sparking some kind of cockatoo zombie apocalypse...

"Brains... Brains..." they said, then looked at me and said "Oh no, it's okay, you're safe", before laughing so hard they nearly fell off their perches... ha ha...
