The animal Corona virus is different to the human one and they can not be transmitted to each other.
This is the sort of garbage that will possibly get animals killed and posted by a network that's known for getting
things wrong just so the can post a "story".

It's also a no no for posting moving Gifs especially if the file is large like that one must be.
As it's basically a "video" file then the picture viewer can't be used.
I know others have posted moving Gifs but have never done one myself, only the emoticons.
Moving Gifs aren't supposed to be posted to the boards so I have no idea how others did so.
Maybe find one and ask that person via that post?

I use the self service checkouts in WW or Coles and pay using tap n go
I usually do as well, when I'm just buying a small amount of items. I usually pay cash at the self-serve, though since the stores don'l like their staff to handle dirty money, lol.
If I have a big trollyeful, I'll go through a manned checkout and pay by card.
I even scan my own rewards card, since they've brought in that little do-it-yourlself gadget.
That way the operator doesn't have to handle anything I've touched, although they wear gloves.
The checkout operaters at my local Woolies are also protected by perspex screens.
I've got feeling things will stay like that even when (and if) the virus has run it's course.
I do my main grocery shopping at Aldi, just grab a cpl of brand names I prefer from either WW/Coles, so it's quicker to use the SS option.

The report states. "The animals were infected by a zoo employee who was "asymptomatically infected with the virus" while caring for them, according to the zoo. The Bronx Zoo has been closed to the public since March 16".
Personally, for the safety of our pets, I think this is worth keeping an eye on. I doubt there is anyone who can categorically say this new virus cannot be transmitted from humans to animals.

@*kazumi* wrote:How do you post GIF here? Hope this works;
Easiest way is to put it into your photos first and them click on the little picture above what you're about to post
(the 9th one along).
Then simply click on browse and it should take you to your pictures folder and you can select it from there.
It will then also put it into your profile pictures gallery from which you can then select it anytime you want.
I did put it into my photos, but all I got was the still picture, This GIF goes for quite a while as the people keep taking pictures of the avalanche until it hits them. I could put link to the original site but it has some explicit pictures above, and I imagine that is a no no here.
Will try the profile picture gallery
Thanks
Kazumi, best way to post a pic is a simple copy and paste with a right click.
It works for both still and moving pics, and won't clutter up your hard drive.

On Sky News AM Agenda, the female commentator just asked a doctor about people who have had the virus and recovered without knowing they were infected. She queried whether it was unfair to unnecessarily disadvantage them by expecting them to stay at home, and maintain a safe distance. Just think about it. The mind boggles how irresponsible some commentators can be.

well how would they know they had had it and recovered then?
dumb question but its sky news isnt it, home of dumb comentators paid to be 'controversial'
btw, there is no positive proof having the virus and getting over it makes you either imune or unable to spread it that ive heard.
maybe it does, but that will take a long time to be sure of.

China first told the world Corona Virus could not be transfered by human to human.
The Chinese Doctor that told the internet it could be tranfered is missing, no one knows where she is
They have lied over and over about how many people have died in China
China let 5 Million people leave china after they knew about the Virus.
Trump said only one chinese person had bought the Virus to America and people had nothing to worry about it was all in hand.
Those 5 Mil People traveled through out the world from China.
Trump still thinks China did the right thing, history will not be kind to these 2 Men
Back in December nobody knew what is going on; the doctor suspected it may be transmitted human to human, but there was not a real evidence. Yes the Chinese bureaucrats messed up big way for few weeks. But most of the 5 million that left China would have been nowhere near Wuhan, and many were not Chinese citizens; China could not stop them leaving, it was up to the other countries to monitor people arriving there. Australia brought home people from Hubei province, put them in quarantine and none were infected.
The problem with epidemics is that by the time it becomes obvious how dangerous the situation is it's too late and the virus has spread. This was a new virus that nobody knew anything about.
What I wonder is WHY has our government not reacted faster with checking people coming into Australia, especially those coming from the USA. It was quite obvious that situation there is not controlled at all, yet America was last to have been put on travel restriction list. And of course the Ruby Princess fiasco is just inexplicable. I read somewhere that some high ranking Hillsong people were on board; but surely not. Why not just sneak them off and lock up the rest?
The Chinese made mistakes at time when nobody knew what is what; the rest of the world was like rabbit in the headlights
The US CDC (UN/WHO centric) sat on their hands for 3 weeks blocking the way for the various States to test , and so allowing the virus to spread unchecked - The Pres Trump medivacced US citizens out of China but wanted to fly cases in a separate plane but was ignored.
The consideration i think at the time was no more serious than seasonal flu - so just let it run it's course
However it has been found to be far more intensive for thousands , breaking hospital resources and without treatment there is little hope -and shock horror not restricted to the extreme elderly who have one foot in the grave, but also a threat to the senior exec/business/political influencers and A-listers - also US society having liitle in the way of a middle class is quite fragile with the bottom 60% economically insecure and capable of anachy
