The "For the camera" smiles, the thumb raised, finger pointing at her, and their beaming smiles may draw your eye, but the simple truth is that he loves her - she is precious to him, and he cannot hide that.
It wouldn't matter who it was.
It's a picture of a middle aged couple, of a man in love with his wife, and the most subtle of gestures speaks volumes.
