Maybe the people you know don't feel "cosy and safe" but I know heaps of rural people who do. Please don't you assume.

While some people are cosy and safe out in the sticks, others like me live close to where protests are happening. I know beyond a doubt that people from my suburb attended and they shop at the same centre that I do. Now it's back to very safe distancing, watching people's behaviour etc. The stakes are high again because of irresponsible people who don't care. Of course some people are angry. The problem is the "facts" are unlikely to reveal how and why the spikes really occurred. Irrespective, those people nearby, not afar, have to hold their breath and hope again.

Hmmmm dont think the folk in my town feel "cosy and safe", so please dont make assumptions.  NO ONE in Melb needs to go near a shopping centre, groceries etc can all be bought online  ............... we " in the sticks" dont have that option

While groceries can be bought on-line, they are not sourced from a 'pristine' warehouse.

They are picked and packed from the local supermarket, where the general public may have already handled them, sneezed on them, done whatever to them.

Isolation doesn't keep you safe.
