so if you get a runny nose or a cough ect
have a test
Out of curiosity David, how long did they say it would be before you get the result? They told me (in Darwin) 24 to 36 hours but I had a text with the result in less than 24 hours so was very impressed.

Only mine isn't one of them?
Looks like ring-fencing might be next, if that doesn't work
So they are giving a wuhan-esque head start of 30 hours to disperse all over the city...
They initially fudged the figures by quoting the number of "postcodes" rather than suburbs - the number of suburbs in lockdown is 36 or there abouts - i think the number of people affected is similar to that of the current outbreak in China ....
Has VIC-gov dropped the bundle due to unconscious survivors guilt affecting sound decision making or the need to emulate one's object of admiration or is there some deep seated psychosis blighting populations with associated heavy industrialization and high density living that no matter what the demonstrated facts and tragedy of other countries the belief is that such can not happen here
? Or is this State taking advice from overseas pandemic control authorities who are more focused on an unlikely synthetic vaccine development rah rah rather than effective timely mitigation.
Fortunately our recovery rates are sensationally high - which implies for general healthy living the best country in the industrialised world ( got to say something cheery )
