what do they do if these border jumpers havent got $4000?

whats the process

fine if they can pay 'on the spot' but how many have that much on hand either as cash or available via credit

An on the spot fine means that they get the fine there and then and then have to pay it generally within 30 days unless they want to take it to court.

No fine can be paid straight away as cops aren't allowed to handle money as it could be seen as bribery.

ive also hear a discussion today that the border between SA and Vic is not secure

victorians are turning up in towns in SA

one couple when questioned by a local said 'we are from warnanbool so we are ok'

Warnambool had one reported case on Sunday.

the afternoon radio show spoke to several local business owners and the story goes there are lots of victorians wandering about in places like robe, just on holiday.

i hope its not true

Possibly is considering the amount of idiots not listening and going where ever they want.

Seems to be some that simply can't grasp the idea that if they get infected and infect others then there is a

chance that some of them could die.

Should just make it like it was done with aids that if you deliberately/knowingly infected someone because you

didn't believe it was serious you could be charged with manslaughter.good.gif

They should just double or triple the fines or stick them in jail for 14 days minimum and the fine on top.Whistle.gif
