Sometimes I think the more I read, the less I know...
The duck did a couple of things - wagging it's tail, and standing upright and flapping it's wings, and not being familiar with the body language, I thought I'd do a bit of research..
I narrowed the hunt down to duck breeders, figuring that they'd be the kind of people who'd know...
I now know a lot about how drakes like to show off to the girls, and that if a duck hisses at you it's because it doesn't like you, but I'm no closer to finding an answer to the questions I set out with.
The more I read, the less I know... ha ha...
Like everything, the answer is there, it's just a matter of time and patience and all will be revealed, ha ha...

I got a bit of work done in the garden, so I feel virtuous.
It's back to another week of soggy days, from the look of it, as of tomorrow.
I keep telling myself it's good for the garden, ha ha, and maybe, just maybe, if I find the time, and remember (that's always the hard bit), I might go looking for a new raincoat.
I've had the current one long enough for it to have worn out so that it's now got the all the waterproofing properties of a tea towel, ha ha...
