The camel is really cute Tas.......but isn't it missing something?
I suppose its hump might be hiding under the blanketπ€

That's brilliant, Tas. π
I'm very impressed.
I have a favourite Nativity that I visit every year, for no better reason than to wish the animals a Merry Christmas, ha ha...

Obviously, the camel's name would have to be Humpfree...
Ha ha...
Also, while I'm here. what's faster, Hot or Cold?

"Humpfree" .... love it.... ![]()
Wonder if I could fit a ping pong ball under the knitted back to make it look like a hump? Any ideas, would that work?

Half a ping pong ball, maybe?

It's Sunday!
Day "Oh, really... Do I have to count? It seems like forever" of the seemingly endless lockdown....
So here's a suitable music interlude...

Tas - a ping pong ball is too round - methinks.
He would look like he has a tummy ache. ![]()
What about a cardboard cone - with the top rounded a little - humps are more pointy.

Tas, I'd just pack more stuffing into the 'hump' section to make it higher.
Any stretching of the stitches will be covered by his blanket.
If it's a simple pattern made with squares as you say, try less stitches to make the squares smaller, thus making the camel smaller ,and more in size with your nativity set.
Always write down what changes you make to a pattern. Believe me, it's so easy to forget what you did for the next time.

Some really good ideas there, thank you so much everyone.
I think, once the camel is made (and smaller, thank you stawks) I'll try extra stuffing and see what happens.
I'm going to make three camels, so might try each suggestion; that would make three nice "Humpfulls" rather than "Humpfrees"... ![]()
