I personally am in favour of eradication and a vaccine - but it seems to me that this viral disaster has uncovered certain flaws in society which would be good to be addressed - ie attitude and improvements to aged care , general hygiene ie seasonal flu mitigation , improved anti-contamination from tourist/migrants/overseas travellers , improved health care worker hygiene , improved bacterial cleanliness of public fascilities like trains
Be a shame for an affective vaccine to be released then potential improvements forsaken
