I'm thinking... That pair of galahs who visit, now, singly or as a pair, better have a nest and hungry youngsters nearby.
I don't mind that they turn up two or three times a day for a feed, but I'd like to think they're not just taking me for granted (like the other birds do), ha ha...
Rain, overnight, most probably starting in the early morning was the prediction...
They weren't wrong, it rained, in the morning, slow, and gentle...
Nobody mentioned the string of thunderstorms passing over, just before midnight, which came as a surprise to all of us, ha ha...
Suddenly there was a clap of thunder and a sudden deluge, followed by a string of small stormy cells... all very exciting.
I wonder what else the weather man has in store that we don't know about, ha ha...
