That brilliant Tas, it definitely deserves a thumbs up! 🙂

I think the koala balaclava wouldn't be as functional as a face mask but it would be a good conversation starter, ha ha...

I got to thinking... I need an assistant to follow me around with an umbrella while I use the whipper snipper to try to tame the garden.

It's all this rain, you see.

The grass grows like weeds and the whipper snipper's battery powered, so operating it while it's raining isn't a good idea...

This image comes to mind... ha ha...

Perhaps I should just leave it until the sun comes out, again, but it's getting to the point where I can see where the possums have trampled paths through the grass , ha ha...

I should take a photo and submit it to one of those "Wildlife in your area" photo contests...

The possums might be notoriously difficult to photograph but the evidence of their comings and goings should make up for that, ha ha...

All it takes is a couple of days of rain and a couple of decent, warm days and the little blighters are out like the makeshift signs touting whichever politician it is that wants my vote in the upcoming election, ha ha....

Yes, the ACT goes to the polls on Saturday....

Meanwhile, back in the land of creatures that clamour for my  time and attention... ha ha...

I don't know if it was a black cockatoo or a stray corella that flew over as dusk fell, loudly squawking "Mad Jack -whistle- Mad jack!" but it broke the early evening silence, either way.

The cockatoos were long gone, by then, and the only company I had as I waited for the possums to get up was a lone currawong.

I thought that they would've headed back to the hills by now, but it seems that the garden still has thing that wriggle, crawl or bear fruit that requires their attention, ha ha....

As for noisy eaters...

Mum possum got up, closely pursued by her little one, valiantly trying to secure a ride on her back, but mum was just a tad too fast for her...

Scamper, scamper... screeching halt! It's time to eat banana, Noisily... Mum can sort herself out, ha ha...

Deaf... Dead... It's amazing how one small typo can change the meaning of a piece of text...
