There's plenty of coal underneath arable land.

All he's got to do is convince the farmers that strip-mining their land will be beneficial to them.

With accusations of Victorian Labor premier, Daniel Andrews lying to the COVID royal commission coming left, right and centre from a number of senior people, you would have to think where there's smoke there's fire. If he survives the no confidence motion, he will be a lame duck leader for the rest of his term in office.

Andrews disastrous handling of the Victorian COVID outbreaks and alleged regular porkies to the public are looking more and more like Australia's version of Donald Trump.

While they might not admit it, even the most rusted on Labor supporters would have to be questioning what they have got themselves into by voting Andrews into office.

You mean how he's brought  down the daily outbreaks  from around 400  to an average daily of 9.6?

as a reportadly 'rusted on labor supporter' notice i began this thread pointing out daniel a labor premier has soiled his hand badly with the hotel security saga.

however remember he hadnt had to handle a pandemic before and so mistakes were likely to be made.

unlike ms gladys who knew in 2015 the guy was trouble but kept their relationship hidden until it blew up in her face.

i have no sympathy for her.

will either survive their mistakes?

who knows but hers is worse than his IMO

so if this man from NSW was selling visas to the Chinese for cash.....wouldn't the approvals have to come through from the Fed Govt??  Am I wrong in thinking this?

despite our travel limitations etc.  a truck driver took the virus from Chadstone to Kilmore.. then on to Shepparton where a number of people are now infected.. he failed to tell  the contact tracers that he even went there.

i'll wait for the outcome of the HQI before jumping to any conclusions about Andrews lying

No, it's been dealt with by a competent and responsible Premier.

And yet how many state or federal ministers were called to testify before the "enquiry" and who was really responsible for the passengers being given a free pass to return to all states in Australia:

not ONE!

A week is a long time in politics.  Two may not make it to Friday.  One of them won't be Daniel Andrews.

There's another saying:

Last week's rooster is tomorrow's feather duster.
