42 days we made it to.  Now thanks to international arrivals we have 5 new cases    horror smiley.gif

 

Let's hope the quarantine hotels are better managed this time around.

At least the cancelled  UoQ method vaccine is to be used in modified form for addressing other diseases 

 

 

personally I think the coronavirus version should have been developed and proven as a standby in case the current fast tracked candidates have supply problems - already one of them had half the stock recalled due to quality issues 

 

I suppose now is not the time for questions

One moment please ,  if a person is already infected by SARS-CoV-2 will the vaccine make any difference ? If a person's immune response is inadequate in dealing with the real virus , then what good is a simulation , ignoring any placebo effects ?

probably why is a good idea to keep ongoing testing of students of all ages - addressing an unexpected source could be helpful in stopping an outbreak - children not likely to show obvious symptoms but can spread elsewhere particularly within families
