Apparently the biological dad is nowhere in sight. There has been another male vying for the female's attention while she was incubating.
She had to do her own hunting while the drama unfolded.
Step-dad has stepped up and is helping with the chicks.
Meanwhile at Orange, NSW only one Peregrine chick has hatched so far, with 2 eggs remaining.
