Mind you, it came about an hour after the cat tree toppled when the top level became dislodged. Faulty support. So… we had a cattreequake and then an earthquake.

I was up taking photographs of the broken pillar between the two platforms of said cat tree, and soothing Ichabod after the shock he’d had when the cat tree fell. He had additional trauma with the earthquake, poor boy. Extra catnip treats for him, and lots of pats and being brushed with his special German cat brush…
