Hi Pj,hope you were well enough to have lunch with your mum and aunt.Well i called into the bird shop for you and the verdict was if you smother him with attention and affection he can be trained to not be vicious.My bird man said to not let him on your shoulder or anywhere near your face for at least a few months until you are sure he won't strike out at you.Also i could always pick you both up and take you to meet my bird man so that he can observe his behaviour and make the correct decisions on how to curb his nasty habits, just let me know Otherwise if your not sure you want him i'd be happy to take him as we love birds we already have 4 budgies, take care and have a good weekend:-)

Have thought out the 5th wheeler thoroughly and have decided with the fuel prices tis not the way to go, so will just use the subaru and stay at motels:)
I am quite excited have booked a weeks holiday at a place called Kinka beach for half way through november up rocky way and have booked my air fare to Melbourne in February to finally meet up with siggeth piggeth from the chat boards who I have been great friends with for about 5 years now:)
I hope you are all travelling well atm as this leave me good:)

Hi Dame thats marvellous news...........and yes can understand re the fuel and the fifth wheeler...........but i still think one has so much more freedom with ones house on ones back.........i must have gypsy in me:)

thanx libby, for doing that for me, and i may take you up on that offer, mainly cos it would be nice to meet you in person LOL! I have decided that i will take him and not fully decided on a name, so I am going to google stuff about cockatoos, and whats best for them in terms of behaviour..and a name that is easy for him to understand and say, i would love to teach him how to talk LOL!!!oh and I hope that your wee lil one is getting better!!

my tonsilitis is not great, but i still had a pleasant day, bought some craft stuff, and I will put some pics of the cards i make up on here!!

Hi Bear and im getting there im keeping myself very busy.........or rather structured.....that way i dont have to think about too much:(

Goooooooooooooood morning from the Goldie and another stinken hot day to look forward to with no rain again..........some very serious bush fires up the other end of the Coast........one has to wonder about the mentality of people that get a kick off lighting fires and causing other people so much sorrow:(

Not much on the drawing board today........going to the legal eagle Tuesday arvo...........mothers legal eagle has been on leave.....will be glad in a way when i get that appointment out of the way:(

Might be going out for breakkie tomorrow and thats about me for the weekend.

Morning Ladies,
woke up this am with what i think is a sinus headache,took some advil and am feeling better but have decided to leave the weekly shop till tomorrow.My Aunt and Uncle came over from England on Thursday and i caught up with them at my mums yesterday.We haven't seen them for about 10 years so they got to meet the two liitle ones which was nice.:-)

Am thinking of going to a church fete this arvo with my mum and sister and then see my aunt and uncle again.Tomorrow we have cricket and food shopping and that's the weekend gone yet again.

Pj just let me know if you want me to pick you and Bart up i'm more than happy to help and we get to meet at the same time which is a bonus:-)

Jvh i saw the fires on the tv this morning they are just terrible i'm glad there not near you.I hope you have a relaxing weekend and enjoy your brekkie tomorrow morning:-x

Hi Libby and do take care with that headache.......sometimes also if you massage just the temples with some oil or some lavender........that sorts it pronto...even breathing in some lavender.........can give the sinus a bit of a hit and thereby give the headache the heave ho

Went to a garage sale this am and got a very brand new leather office chair.........boy got it home and didnt like it.......had the papers and got if for less than half of what he paid..........so have had a bit of a win this am:)

Have a great arvo im off to read and rest:)
