I suppose other people's reaction to being called that is kind of what matters? She could have thought "Other people have had their doors kicked in for less than that" and given Amy a punch in the face if she was so inclined?  

I'd say she was running as she wanted to get her car out of your way Amy ...also she wouldn't have known how you were going to react either would she ? 

Who knows what her story is , if she was just selfish, if she wasn't thinking, if there was a reason for that ? Who knows she may have needed to get back to the hospital bedside of a family member, may not have slept ? We don't know her story do we ?
