It does have a certain extra ring to it. Smiley Very Happy

It's ok, I know that was a faintly amusing pun at best. ^_^

(PS I couldn't see any options for editing posts on my phone after it was already posted, hence having to let the typos alone o.o - I get a 5 min window on the PC [which I have already used to correct a typo in the spoiler Smiley LOL], plus all sorts of other stuff, but on the phone all I get is a text box and a post button).

Use the full site on your phone rather than the mobile site and it works the same as it does on a computer. It also means you can reply to the right person and not the OP. When I access via the phone I'll log in via the mobile site, then scroll down and change to full (on the forum page, not the full eBay site - I have a link on my home screen that takes me straight to the forum).

Hi at ebay

I sought permission to have a putrchase sent to a Post Office Box, it was granted and I can't get through to checkout to pay. Is there a hidden button that will enable me to make payment???

No hidden button. If the seller has ticked the box in their settings to not send to a PO box, then you can't pay if your primary address is a PO box. All you can do is ask the seller to cancel, go into their settings and untick the no PO box setting, then relist and you buy again. Otherwise, you'll need to have a street address.

You could try adding your street address with the PO box. For example:

John Smith

PO box 123

14 Your St

Somewhere 1234

I have had buyers list their address like that. It could be to get around the PO box block.

Some buyers live in country areas that don't have a mail delivery service therefore have to have a P.O. Box. Some courier companies only deliver to major population areas or charge a premium to deliver off route.

We know that, but it is a seller's choice.

You won't get an answer from p*j, either.

Po Boxs are a good idea....cause mail goes   missing out of the street address mail boxes ....especialy at this time of the year..plus the damage aspect.....the  MAIL MEN ..  badly .. shoving  the mail  in the mail box..

I have frequently found that sellers from China do this. And when I find an item from China that I want, it tends to be the case that if one of the sellers refuses to ship to PO Boxes then all of them do... almost as if they were acting as one. I always back out and, even if it costs a few dollars more, I buy from a local seller who doesn't have that strange problem with delivering to a secure PO box instead of an insecure letter box. When I refer to it as "strange", it is because there is no sense to it -- I have on quite a few occasions asked why they will not ship to a PO box and those that answer simply say they don't know why!!! Go figure. I suspect that some centralised system is used in setting up a lot of the seller accounts and the settings are imported without much thought. My 2c.

Your 2c worth is NINE YEARS TOO LATE.

Yeah - but - it was only 2c. lol
