The number is M616T .

The place Stawks is telling you to look is about is about halfway down the listing page, and it's a 12 figure number.

I think OP is confusing item number (item being what they bought) with the listing number.

The only 12 figure number I can find is   0C 56 5C 6E IC SD .

Scroll down the listing page until you see this on the RHS :-

*sigh

That number will be found on the item listing in your purchase history, not on the actual box itself.

At the end of the day, I don't know if it can be used or not.

Maybe a phone call to Optus might throw some enlightenment on it.

But the box has to be activated with a subscription, and whether your subscription for

the other box covers it, is doubtful.

None of this is the seller's fault, so a claim is not on the cards IMO.

I think you should have done some research before purchase, sorry.

Someone else may think differently.

Stawks, the OP mentioned earlier that their other box was on the Dodo network, which uses mostly Optus for their towers/equipment etc, but I'd doubt if Optus is going to give them an activation code.

Maybe the solution is to try Dodo for an activation code - if the box is not locked to the Optus network, which I suspect it might be.

Possibly seeing the item number might clear that up................hmmm.............
