@brandan - you should buy from proper retail stores which will give you a warranty.
Even if this item turns up and seems ok, if something goes wrong, where will you take it as nobody will acknowledge a warranty if they didn't sell it to you in the first place.
If you do continue to purchase via Ebay, always use a trusted method of payment, such as Paypal.
Never give in to a seller who tells you to use bank deposit - big red flag.
Anyway, the chances of this item being sent are about zero as these consoles are as scarce as hens teeth and it's unlikely that your seller even had one to send. Random scam sellers offering PS5's at a "too good to be true price" are a magnet for impatient buyers who do not do their due diligence before purchasing.

Yike I was thinking I could change it at any point but in the event it was actually posted how long should I wait until I go for the item not received claim?

Well - I'm a little more cynical.
I go buy a Ps thingy - I have the box & a receipt.
What is to stop me - photographing the box & providing the receipt - listing it as an item - then skedaddling.
At least he didn't ask for Bank Deposit.

And - yes - if it did finally turn up - I would repay.

Open a case as soon as it will allow.
If the seller adds the tracking you will lose the case.
If he doesn't respond, you will win and get a full refund

Showing a picture of a receipt is irrelevant.
If you can't open the case today, just keep trying every day until you can.

I think eBay gives sellers 3 business days to respond after a case has been opened, and if the seller really sent the item, it should have arrived by then... But if the OP wants to wait just a couple of days more, it's up to him.
At this stage we cannot know for sure whether it is a scam or not, but the auction ended 8 days ago...
