Opting out of shared data seems to be becoming more difficult in a variety of applications. In an age where digital data (provided or inferred from a transaction and the actions around that transaction) is core to personal privacy and ID, it strikes me as insane.

Yes, countess…as an aside….imagine if all buyers refused to use PayPal, sellers too ….what would happen to online purchases? Beggars belief!

I'd use my Visa debit card, which I have to use for over half my online purchases anyway.

Yes, debit card use online is a lot safer when one has a temporary daily randomly generated CVV especially for such a purpose.

Havent used paypal for a couple of years, but still purchase online.  Why would you bother
