Opting out of shared data seems to be becoming more difficult in a variety of applications. In an age where digital data (provided or inferred from a transaction and the actions around that transaction) is core to personal privacy and ID, it strikes me as insane.

Yes, countessโ€ฆas an asideโ€ฆ.imagine if all buyers refused to use PayPal, sellers too โ€ฆ.what would happen to online purchases? Beggars belief!

I'd use my Visa debit card, which I have to use for over half my online purchases anyway.

Yes, debit card use online is a lot safer when one has a temporary daily randomly generated CVV especially for such a purpose.

Havent used paypal for a couple of years, but still purchase online.  Why would you bother
