Hi casey, I do not see anything to support your claim that the account has been hijacked.

The account is only 9 months old, has not been dormant, and has been selling in a constant and regular capacity for the majority of that time.

There is considerable evidence that the seller is acting as a drop shipper.  A 2 bit seller can only ship low value items via fedex, free of charge, via multi national third parties who are able to meet the costs by shipping millions of items per month at considerable discount rates.  Yes there are errors caused by the seller, the third party and also the courier.

Not only fine, let's broadcast it to the buyers.

eBay must think "unusual activity"  sounds better than hijacked.

 

And  yet  another account remains in the hands of a scammer.

Hi again casey,  Am a bit confused, where did these messages come from and do they relate to the OP or the relevant purchase.

 

Unusual activity, does not  mean  hijacked account.

The item relevant to this post has not been removed, and as yet there is nothing to indicate any action has been taken against the seller, most unusual if ebay believe the account is hijacked.

 

If the seller was refunded by ebay, that does not mean the seller has been deemed to be at fault, or that any action is pending against the seller.  If the seller has met their obligations to ebay and the seller, then ebay can and do make goodwill payments to buyers.

I haven't got time for all this rubbish again.

Scammers have control  of the  selling accounts mentioned  in this thread  -  End Of  !

And eBay  refuses to do anything about it.

To  redeye,  if you ever  come across this thread  by chance,  I'd advise you to  take your blood pressure meds before reading it.   lol      Nothing's changed.

It does not take much, I spent about half an hour last night and was able to identify  exactly where  multiple items from the seller, including the item relevant to this thread were coming from.  The relevant item had a mark up of under $10 from the third party source, with free worldwide shipping, now by the time the seller pays ebay fees, it is hardly worth their time, effort, and hassle.  Oh the joys of drop shipping.

Some of their sales have as little as $2 markup, so by the time they pay ebay fees they are flat out breaking even.  Great business plan the seller has.

Unfortunately as much as you might wish to believe, you have not uncovered a master scammer, just a 2 bit drop shipper, who has probably read a couple of articles about getting rich on ebay and has no idea what to do when it goes wrong.

Have you actually read the entire thread ?

It’s about scammers, hijacked accounts and eBay’s refusal to pay buyers through the MBG.

It’s about buyers leaving negative feedback and a scammer having it removed.

Bringing your personal  “he said” “she said “ comments into someone else’s thread doesn’t help anyone and takes the thread off topic.

I keep mentioning that eBay used to have  great Customer Support and Trust and Safety teams.

They’re LONG GONE

My responses are ALWAYS aimed at helping anyone who is dealing with  a scammer.

Some seem to think a hijacked account is always an old dormant account now listing high priced non existent items.

I  have over 20 years  experience  dealing with scammers and hijacked accounts.

The selling accounts mentioned in this thread are being run by scammers.

I have a 0 feedback posting ID

I don’t  care who believes me or not.

If the information I give helps only one person , I’ll be happy.

Recent newer threads help to to do this,  especially if inexperienced buyers read it.
