You need to open an item not as described dispute
How many negs did the seller have?
Did you read the negs from unhappy buyers?
98 or 99%? There is a big difference between the two and if they are a high volume seller, both are garbage
If you open the appropriate dispute and the seller wants it back, they need to provide you with a means of returning it to them
I too would like to know why the item number has been edited by a mod, since there has been nothing I have seen about no longer being able to post item numbers
Unless of course on the very very slim chance the scammer seller reported the number, claiming they were going g to fix the issue and asking for it to be removed?

I've received confirmation that a 12 digit item number is allowed to be posted and the item number has now been been restored to reply #3
