I am a bookkeeper in Australia and would like to record gst correctly. Is there an easy way for me to identify the abn of a seller if they are operating a business in Australia?

If it is not in their listing or showing on the invoice then ask them for it.

ABN is required to be shown on ALL documents whether hard copy or digital, and any business listing or advertisment.
