Didn't you get a communication from ebay to say that the item you bought had been delisted?

Wait until you can open up a INR dispute and follow the instructions given to you and then close it when time allows you to do so and you will receive your money back if the seller doesn't reply.

mooni, please do not give incorrect information on the boards. The OP can open a dispute immediately and will get her refund only if she escalates the dispute to a claim. The seller cannot reply as they have been deregistered but the OP will not get a refund if she closes the dispute.

Ebay should surely have some process for this, I would get in touch with them.
But paypal is separate to ebay. If you paid via paypal, you can open your own dispute anyway, idependent of ebay.
I did it recently for a couple of photobook vouchers I bought online, direct froma company (nothing to do with ebay). A few weeks later I found out the company had gone into liquidation so I quickly lodged a claim and what happened was they gave the company 10 days to reply to my claim and then if they don't receive a satisfactory reply, it is automatically closed in your favour and you get refunded into your paypal account.
If it comes down to this for you, just go into the paypal website yourself and start a claim.

No OP can not open a dispute immediately they have to wait like everyone else has to wait so I don't know what the hell you're talking about?????? I have had to wait with a similar situation before I could open a dispute so why can OP open immediately but I had to wait? you need to get your facts right!

OK, if I do not know what I am talking about, maybe you can enlighten me....why does the OP have to wait before she can open a dispute when the seller has been deregistered? And how long does she have to wait?

"I've won an item and it's been paid for and now the item has been removed as has the seller, trying to get answers from EBay but can't get any help, I paid through PayPal, item wasn't cheap!"
Log on to Paypal and see if you're able to cancel your payment.
If you can't, open a Dispute immediately and escalate to a claim as soon as the system allows.

Put in dispute but put in Ebay as the culprit.
