I too would not call myself a gambler, although I have been to the casino on the odd social occasion, but would not waste more than about $10.

yes, that was a difficult one to overcome, but silent auctions are permissible, so as long as I place one bid at the price I am prepared to pay, I get away with it.
BUT LOL, yeah, sometimes buying things on eBay is a bit of a gamble, eh?
