I have lost all faith in Ebay and PayPal, I posted here to get some answers and the only response I get is from people telling me to "Harden up".

What do you expect PayPal to do? They're just a company who processes payments, they might have been able to recover your money had you not closed your dispute.. eBay can only help you if you give them information ie: reporting the sellers e-mails
