No they aren't. The listing may have ended, but it's been relisted. 271669974039

Looks like the seller has been NARU'd.

There are still four other sellers live that sell similar items,271666808403 , 251717316712 , 261661983782 ,

That's the one thing with these scammers,(they'll always hijack more then one ID),stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

These sellers seem vaguely similar to the seller who attempted to scam me. Most of their items are listed at $24.99 and are too cheap to be true. I hope Ebay can get rid of these scoundrels. I was gullible enough to fall for one of their scams and I won't be falling for them again! modestbods saved my a**.

They are genrerally the same hijacker as they'll hijacked a few account to post their listings on,)more accounts,

more exposure).

This happens at least twice a year,(after tax time and before Xmas).

Last year there where over 150 accounts over a two week period,(some hijacked and others just started for the

sole purpose of scamming members).

eBay need a better report function so that these type of scammers are removed quickly.

It would be better if they searched for these scammers themselves but there blurb has always been that they

are only a platform and aren't responsible for what's listed on it.

No matter how often scam listings are reported some will never be removed,(as eBay make money on them).

They do not make money on these current type of listings as the hijacker claims the money and the actual

account holder will not be held responsible for the fees.

Did you notice the title on 271666808403?

I noticed that all their listings on each seller, they are all listed under cars. Maybe that's one way we can get around having to refund scammers!!!

If they're listed in vehicles, wouldn't they have to pay the listing fees for that category? It's something like $40 to list plus fvf.

They are hijacked accounts so the scammer pays nothing,(it's the account holder that will get the bill which will

be waived).

The scammer will take any payments received and the added bonus is that they'll have the details of all the

gullible buyers for future phishing attempts to get their eBay and PP passwords.

These four scammers still have "live" listings: 271666808403 , 251717316712 , 261661983782 ,

They know that Trust & Safety aren't very active on the weekends so they'll list on a Friday afternoon for

maximum exposure and little risk of them being removed.

You would get a caution/defect for listing in the wrong category.

The scammers do it to avoid detection and they don't care if the account holder gets cautioned/defected.
