As a buyer I also expect to have feedback once I have paid not after I leave them feedback first.

Why? You are a declared seller, you know that buyer feedback is optional and irrelevant.

I find alot of power sellers leave feedback as soon as you pay for something (maybe it's automated??) but I don't let it worry me if they wait until you give feedback when you've actually recieved the item, I think this way, they know you have got it and everything is okay.

I am a buyer who likes feedback. I guess after reading how the sellers don't see a reason I should get it or feel they don't have time to leave it  I have decided to do the following.

If a seller leaves me feedback after I order and pay I will leave them feedback based on there service.

If a seller does not leave feedback I will no longer leave them feedback.

Simple I think.

I think most sellers would be happy with no feedback rather than less than optimal feedback based on a buyer's perception that feedback for the said buyer meant anything.

So, I commend you. And hope other pretentious buyers follow suit.
