I started typing a detailed reply to your reply to my post but then went and had dinner. It saved as a draft, but when I got back to it I thought "why bother". You have either not read my post or misunderstood what I wrote in that post. So I will now limit the amount I post in reply (I still have the draft saved if needed later).
So, all I will say in reply to your post where you say "....I did asked questions & see none answered unless the cop out by letting other buyers get caught in the same web is considered acceptable" is that you did get answers to questions posed in your opening post. I, for one, answered with "You have re-filed the claim and asked us what other options you have. My answer will seem simplistic, let the re-filed claim run its course and never buy from them again". Offering you any other advice would be premature as the outcome of the re-filed case is not yet known. I stand by my original answer 100%.
eBay can't stop buyers from repeatedly buying from shonky sellers. They have introduced the Money Back Guarantee which goes some way towards giving further protections for buyers. As for warranty claims on eBay purchases, all I can add further is that for items where warranty is important you need to go to a B&M store and do not buy such items online.
edit: as to your reply to lyndal, you will find that lyndal1838 is not a seller, and never has been.
