Actually the clutch purse was a clutch purse to me the handle did not look like nor could you have used it as a weapon, But as I already said it comes down to what a customs officer deems as a weapon, everyone is different.

Harley, I bought one of those clutch purses with the knuckle duster rings.
I bought it locally a couple of years ago, so no worries about customs.

It was obviously not an illegal weapon if it was freely available in Australia.
I remember the purses being talked about and whoever thought they were going to kill someone was just imagining things.
It was like saying that the blow up hammers that kids play with would kill someone.
As for anyone standing in judgement of you.....everyone who has looked at your buying history has commented. It looks like you are expecting to settle in for a siege.

Oh yes cathy bring it on, I've got a shed/workshop full of them (and the kitchen has some nice ones as well).
Unfortunately some tools are very blunt here on the boards.
