I remember the purses being talked about and whoever thought they were going to kill someone was just imagining things.

Unfortunately, you've hit upon one of the weird inconsistancies re Customs lyndal - items that are perfectly legal to possess and sell within the country will still not be able to be imported (makes no sense I know lol)

I own simple side-folding knives perfectly legally purchased in Aust at any outdoors/camping shop which would not pass the nonsensical 'wrist-flick-inertia test'/rolleyes

OP - The last 39 purchases I can see on this ID, 15 of them could be seen as being used as a weapon or associated with a weapon.

I wouldn't be surprised if customs have red flagged you especially not knowing that you lean toward camping/hunting as opposed to anything else. And if you have purchased more of similar over a longer period, you are prob red flagged now.

I would be visiting the customs office to get clarification on what you can and how to import hunting items.
